With a focus on those in mid-life to later life, I offer a therapeutic safe space to process, explore and better understand/identify ways of being in the world.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rochester, New York. Sessions can be scheduled in-office as well as via the computer (telehealth). I am here to support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.

Perhaps you are down or anxious. Maybe you are unsure about the future of a relationship or possibly feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Have you experienced a traumatic event? Are you trying to manage life with chronic medical condition(s) or caring for someone who is? Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support and be a partner in your growth.
Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. That might mean finding ways to accept ourselves without self-criticism. That could be deciding what no longer works or serves our best interests. I use evidenced based treatments and a personalized approach.
Our brain likes what is familiar. Willingness to set aside the known/familiar is one of the hardest things to do, although promotes our growth. I will be there alongside you. If you are interested in doing the work of reflection to gain insight and change patterns, then I may be a good fit for you. I believe in depathologizing mental health.
I can tell you honestly it requires effort and determination and it will be worth it!
